SIMON is the website to use when making your benefit choices during open enrollment as well as reviewing your benefits throughout the year, update your demographic information or to add/remove dependents.

Any changes made in SIMON will be reviewed and approved by Human Resources.

For open enrollment:

1. Click one of the two Open Enrollment links (one located under the Open enrollment count down clock, the other is located in the upper right corner)

2. Documents and Links, houses documents that you may need to complete for your enrollment (HSA, FSA, VEBA Attestation)

3. Click any of the links to view  the plans and websites available


Things to know

  • Open enrollment is completed when the electronic signature is received on the the confirmation page
    • This is done by selecting one of the signatures shown or when a signature is done using the mouse in the signature box
    • Once enrollment documents are completed, the status will show as PENDING
    • Human Resources will review and send notification emails of additional information is needed
    • Two days after enrollment, if no additional information is needed, the status is SIMON will show as APPROVED
  • Employment start dates pervious to 2011 will show incorrectly in SIMON as this is the date SIMON started with Whitman County. Employment start dates are correct in Human Resources.  
  • AFLAC, Colonial, Nationwide etc. will not show in SIMON
